We performed a thorough unit checkup, inspecting all components, cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and ensuring optimal performance. The system was tested for efficiency and safety, and any issues were promptly addressed.
I conducted a thorough preventative maintenance check on the heating and cooling equipment. This included inspecting the furnace, evaporator coil, and outdoor condenser, cleaning the flame sensor, and verifying electrical connections. I also tested the heating and cooling controls, cleared the condensate drain line, and inspected the air filter. A weak run capacitor was identified, and I recommended its replacement. Additionally, I suggested professional evaporator coil cleaning and reviewed all findings with the customer.
Responded to the customer's home to troubleshoot an AC system that was running without providing adequate cooling. Diagnosed a clogged condensate drain line that had triggered the system's safety float switch, shutting down cooling to prevent water damage. Cleared the drain line, flushed the condensate piping, and tested the float switch to confirm proper operation. Inspected the air filter and evaporator coil for airflow restrictions, then restarted the system and monitored its cooling performance. Verified proper drainage and consistent cool air delivery before explaining the repair and preventative maintenance recommendations to the customer.

AC thermostat broke, Friday at 6pm. The tech on call talked us through a quick fix, so we wouldn’t have a muggy night, and then came out the next day, replaced the thermostat and did the annual maintenance in the attic. All with a smile! Wonderful service!
