Pulled up to a home near the Kaliste Saloom corridor in Lafayette where the homeowner had noticed a water stain spreading across the ceiling of the hallway below the air handler and called before it got any worse. The condensate drain had backed up from algae growth and the overflow had found a path into the ceiling drywall before the float switch triggered. Cleared the primary drain, treated it with algaecide, checked and reset the float switch, and ran a secondary drain line from the overflow pan to a visible discharge location so any future backup would be obvious rather than silent.
