The drainage system was inspected to prevent water buildup and potential leaks. A detailed report was provided, outlining the maintenance performed and recommendations for future care.
Got called to a home in Pine Prairie where the homeowner had found water spreading across the utility room floor near the base of the air handler and the condensate drain line was clear and flowing correctly. Inspected the drain pan and found a hairline crack along the bottom seam that had been leaking slowly long enough to stain the floor beneath the unit. Replaced the pan with a new properly fitted unit, verified the drain connection was sealed, and ran the system through a full cooling cycle while monitoring the new pan for any seepage. Dry before I left. A cracked pan is not a common finding but it is exactly the kind of thing that keeps quietly making a mess until someone looks at the right part.
